Has anyone tested AI Max for Google Web-to-App Search campaigns?

Google has been strongly recommending AI Max lately, claiming it performs really well for Web-to-App campaigns. Has anyone given it a try? Curious to hear about your experience and whether you saw any meaningful improvements.
 
I have tried multiple times and I can say that it worked well for just one of my clients while demand gen tends to perform better if and when the creatives have a good quality.

Pmax is like an app campaign where you have zero control over the placements but in some cases if your creatives are not that good, it can be a good alternative for web to app

Hey, thanks for the feedback. They claim it performs well for Search campaigns as well. Have you tried it for Search yet?
